642 things to write about: Thing #1

So my sister got me this book.

This book is going to help me take some time to spend writing very random things. So I opened it up to a random page and today I am going to write the first thing I came across.

The smell of a place I love:

My Aunt Beatrice’s house. It smelled old. It smelled musty in the hallway that led from the kitchen to the living room and the space between that went to the second floor. It always felt like home. There was something about being there that was amazing. It was the place I met my biological father for the first time. It was where I fell in love for the first time. It was where I got my first kiss. It was where my heart was broken for the first time. So many firsts. And what made me think of it? The smell. And every time I smell that musty smell, that old smell I am taken back to a place where so many memories and so many things in my life that were important to me.

I can tell already that me and this book are going to have a great summer.

All my love,

Lady X
